The KOVR app is designed to be simple and efficient, getting you from "searching" to "working" in as few steps as possible. Here is a breakdown of the main sections of the app.
The Main Navigation
You'll find four main tabs at the bottom of your screen:
- Explore – This is your home base. Browse available shifts, search for specific roles, and filter by location or date.
- Schedule – View your upcoming approved shifts, pending applications, and shift history.
- Messages – Communicate with employers for shifts you are working. This is where you'll receive important updates and instructions.
- Profile – Manage your personal info, view your ratings, set your notification preferences, and access your earnings.
The Explore Tab
Use the Explore tab to find your next opportunity:
- Search Bar: Search for specific job titles or keywords.
- Filters: Tap the filter icon to narrow results by pay rate, distance, or industry.
- Map View: Toggle to the map view to see shifts available near you.
The Schedule Tab
Stay organized with three sub-sections:
- Upcoming: Shifts you've been hired for. Tap any shift to see details, dress code, and the clock-in button.
- Applied: Shifts you've applied for that are waiting for employer approval.
- History: A record of all your completed shifts and total earnings.
The Wallet (Inbox/Earnings)
Accessible from your Profile tab, the Wallet is where you manage your money. You can see pending earnings, completed payments, and trigger an Instant Pay transfer.
Note: Push notifications are vital for navigation! We'll alert you the moment an application is approved or when it's time to clock in.
Quick Actions
On most screens, you can tap the Help icon (top right) to access live support or visit this Help Center directly from the app.
