Identity verification is an essential step that helps us maintain a safe and trusted community. Once verified, you'll unlock instant payments, access to more shifts, and increased visibility to employers.

Why We Verify Identities

Verification helps us:

  • Ensure all users are who they say they are
  • Protect employers and workers from fraud
  • Enable secure, instant payments to your bank account
  • Comply with financial regulations

What You'll Need

To complete verification, please have ready:

  • A valid government-issued ID – Driver's license, passport, or state ID
  • Your smartphone – For taking photos of your ID and a selfie
  • Good lighting – Clear photos help speed up the verification process

How to Verify

Step 1: Start Verification

Go to your profile settings and tap "Verify Identity." You can also access this from the verification banner that appears on your home screen.

Step 2: Photograph Your ID

Take a clear photo of the front of your government-issued ID. Make sure all four corners are visible and the text is readable. If your ID has information on both sides, we'll ask for the back as well.

Step 3: Take a Selfie

We'll ask you to take a quick selfie to confirm you match your ID photo. Look directly at the camera, remove glasses or hats, and ensure your face is well-lit.

Step 4: Wait for Approval

Most verifications are completed automatically within minutes. In some cases, manual review may be required, which can take up to 24 hours.

Note: Your ID information is encrypted and stored securely. We use industry-standard security practices and never share your data with third parties except as required for verification.

Verification Status

You can check your verification status anytime in your profile settings:

  • Pending – Your documents are being reviewed
  • Verified – Congratulations! You're all set
  • Action Required – We need additional information or clearer photos

Troubleshooting

My verification was rejected

Common reasons include blurry photos, expired IDs, or name mismatches. Review the feedback provided and try again with clearer photos or updated documents.

I don't have a valid ID

We accept most government-issued IDs including driver's licenses, passports, state IDs, and permanent resident cards. If you're having trouble, contact support.

Next Steps

Once verified, you can set up your payment method to start receiving instant payments after your shifts.
